LM300WQ6 - a new 30" module to finally replace the massive range of Q5 revisions there seems to have been. This module is listed as AH-IPS and will offer a 2560 x 1600 resolution. Interestingly the colour coverage is also listed as Adobe RGB which is beyond the normal ~sRGB coverage of current W-LED backlight units. We will wait to see how this develops. The new modules is scheduled to be in production in Q3 of 2012 at the moment
-
LM270WQ3 - A follow up to the 27" Q1 (W-LED) and Q2 (WCG-CCFL) modules already used in popular displays like the Dell U2711, Apple 27" Cinema Display, Hazro HZ27 series. This module is listed as AH-IPS and will offer a 2560 x 1440 resolution like the previous 27" parts. Again it is labelled as Adobe RGB so we will see how that unfolds. The new modules is scheduled to be in production in Q2 of 2012 at the moment
-
LM270WF4 - a new 27" TN Film module which will offer support of 3D content through LG.Display's Film-type Patterned Retarder (FPR) technology. This module is apparently in mass production now
-
LM250WF2 - interestingly a new 25" module which isn't a size you see in the market much at the moment. This will be a TN Film module offering 1920 x 1080 resolution, W-LED backlight and is in mass production now
-
LM250WF3 - another 25" TN Film panel very similar to the WF2 above. However this one also offers 23D FPR support and is in production now also
-
LM240WU9 - Interestingly there are two new versions of this 24" AH-IPS panel with W-LED backlighting, and 1920 x 1200 (16:10 aspect) resolution listed. One will offer 300 cd/m2 brightness and sRGB colour coverage, while the other is listed with 350 cd/m2 brightness and Adobe RGB coverage. The former is scheduled to be in production in Q3 2012 while the latter a little sooner in Q2.
-
LM230WF3 - There have already been various versions of this popular 23" IPS panel in the market, and widely used (in different revisions) in models such as the Dell U2312HM, NEC EA232WMi, LG IPS231P etc. We don't know at this stage what revision the new part will be but it is apparently in production as of January this year. It is again labelled as AH-IPS as opposed to "regular" IPS so it will be interesting to see how this develops. Their existing WF3 modules will apparently become end of life once this new part goes into production.
-
LM230WFA - another 23" module, but this time it is labelled specifically as "IPS" as opposed to "AH-IPS", so something which LG.Display seem to be distinguishing between. This panel is already in mass production and is 3D FPR ready
-
LM215WF3 - this is again an updated revision to a module already in production and we do not know the revision number at this time. This panel will apparently be a 21.5" AH-IPS part and is set for mass production from Feb 2012 onwards. This will then replace some of the previous WF3 modules which will go end of live.
-
LM215WF7 - apparently in production since Aug 2011 but this will be a 21.5" IPS module with support of 3D FPR.
-
LM215WF8 - a 21.5" TN Film module in production since July 2011. This will feature 3D FPR support as well
-
LM200WD4 - a 20" widescreen module with 1600 x 900 resolution and using IPS panel technology.
